New River Fellowship is a multigenerational, multicultural church. We are committed to following Christ and dedicated to making disciples in the New River Valley and beyond.

Everything starts with being made into God's image by the work of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. As we learn about and practice bearing God's image, we grow as disciples of Jesus, which we like to say means we're Devoted to Christ, Developing in Christ, and Deployed with Christ. To be Devoted to Christ means we learn to love who/what God loves. To be Developing in Christ means we learn from His Word and His Spirit. To be Deployed with Christ means we learn to live out His nature alongside our families, neighbors, community, and world. Everything we do revolves around this!

Our Vision
At New River Fellowship, we desire to have an active faith that is engaged with serving in the community and world around us. These are a few areas we are connecting to our community.
Serve International Community
One thing God has put on our hearts has been to press into the international community. Whatever language you speak or culture you come from we want you to feel at home in our church. As there is growth we would love to worship in many languages.
Reach College Students
Located between two college towns we recognize a lot of the people coming to our area are students. Join us as we pray and reach these students with how the Gospel can change their life before they go out into the workforce.
Loving our Neighbors
We hope to engage our community by serving at local events and praying and getting to know our neighbors in the New River Valley, in our country and in our world. Join us as we get to know people from all nations and backgrounds and share the love of Christ with them.

These occur twice a year for interested attendees can learn more about what it means to be active in this community of faith and use their giftings in the church and to serve in the world around them.
