Welcome to River Kids, the children's ministry at New River Fellowship in Christiansburg, Virginia.
We welcome families from Christiansburg, Blacksburg, and communities throughout the New River Valley!
Our mission is to provide foundational Bible teaching in a loving environment so that as each child will come to know Christ as Savior when they are ready.
We also believe parents have an incredible influence on their children's faith. That's why we want to partner with you—not just on Sunday mornings, but throughout the week—as you help your child grow in faith at home.

River Kids on Sunday
River Kids meets every Sunday during our 10:30 AM worship service at New River Fellowship in Christiansburg.
Preschool | 6 Weeks–Pre-K
Our preschool environment gives little ones a safe, loving place to learn about God's love through age-appropriate Bible teaching, activities, and play.
Elementary | Kindergarten–3rd Grade
Elementary-aged kids learn about Jesus through engaging Bible lessons and experiences designed to help them understand God's Word and grow in their faith.
Your Child's Safety Matters to Us
We want every family to feel comfortable and confident when they bring their children to River Kids.
Every River Kids volunteer is background-checked, and we have procedures in place to help keep children safe while they are in our care.
If we need to reach you during the worship service, we'll send you a text, so please keep your phone nearby and on vibrate.
If your child has an allergy, special need, or anything else our volunteers should know, please let us know when you arrive. We're happy to work with your family to help your child have a safe and positive experience.
We know leaving your child with people you don't know can feel like a big step. We're here to help make your first visit as easy and comfortable as possible.
