Living in Christ

Learn about our regular gatherings where we connect and grow in our faith. Join us and discover what it means to follow Christ wholeheartedly and make an impact in the world around you.

At New River Fellowship, we are passionate about investing in the next generation. Our River Kids ministry offers a safe and engaging space for young people to connect with each other and grow in their faith.

Our community groups provide an opportunity for you to grow deeper in your understanding of the Scriptures and build meaningful relationships with others in the church community.

At New River Fellowship, we want to grow in our faith not just by knowing more about the Bible but also growing more in our awareness of our sin and struggles. We encourage all who are struggling to take time to heal with this group of believers at our church.

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ Centered 12-step recovery program based on the Beatitudes of Jesus Christ. This program is designed to help anyone with life’s struggles, addictions, hurts, habits, and hangups. We exist to create fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives.

Sundays at 4 in the fellowship hall

The evening begins with refreshments or a light meal and fellowship, This transitions into a large group for worship, prayer, readings, and a Bible based lesson or testimony. Following the large group particpants go into gender specific small groups for open sharing where we share our hurts and hopes. Participants may pass if they are not ready to share. Guidelines are followed so that all participants in the group are safe.

Step Studies are groups that are offered twice a year for those who are ready for an in-depth personal study into their past choices. Step studies meet on a separate night for 1 1/2 hours- 2 hours and take approximately 6-9 months to complete.
